Chairs

Vivian got a chair from Grandma Mary for her 1st birthday.  The girls love their chairs!

Last night we had a good time with Griffin and Ashley watching Iron Man - love those movies!  They left before midnight; however Josh and I did stay up until the clock struck midnight.  Of course Vivian had to get up around 2:40 and cry off and on for an hour.  Oh well.  2013 is here!  Looking forward to celebrating our 10th wedding anniversary in October!

Closing out 2012

Christmas!

We had a very nice time together as a family here in Sanderson for Christmas!  Here are a few pictures for you to enjoy.

Did we mention that she no longer wears diapers at night?!?!?  Such a big girl!  Shelby is totally potty-trained and we are loving it!

We had quite the mess to clean up!  The girls really enjoyed opening presents and playing with everything.

Shelby is very excited about her doll and her doll clothes, but she especially loves the matching jammies.

It was a crazy day, but we enjoyed it.  We all got some great gifts.  Shelby stills thinks Santa is real.  :(  We'll have to keep working on that one.  At least she knows the true meaning of Christmas ~ we are so thankful for Jesus Christ our LORD!

Videos of Vivian

Here are two sweet videos of Vivian from today.  The first is from our car ride home after church.  Vivian was tired and falling asleep, but being only 15 miles from home we were trying to keep her awake so that she'd take a good nap once we got home.


This second video is Vivian scooting to the step on our back porch.  She does a good job getting herself there, then sitting and kicking her legs.  We love it!

Luke Wigle - does this kind of remind you of when you were little?  Freaked me out at first, since I have seen that video of you "scooting" at a wedding when you were a baby.  Eeek!  Haha!  Luckily Vivian crawls and walks just fine.  She just scoots to the edge of a step.

Now we are ready!

I finished the stockings today ~ so NOW we are ready for Christmas.  :)  Yes, they are already stuffed!

They were supposed to have a top on them with the name embroidered, but that didn't work out so we went with a snowflake seam at the top.  We have some cute ideas as to how we can personalize them...which we will implement next year.  :)
