My sweet grandmother passed away yesterday (June 7th). She was such a special lady and I cannot say enough about her. We each had such special relationships with her. Church was hard ~ I cried the whole worship time, just thinking of how Grandpa must be feeling. And through my tears God spoke to me, reminding me that though we hurt, we will see her again! I am so glad that she knew Jesus and that we will spend eternity with her in Heaven, praising God!!! But it still is painful here on earth and my heart still hurts for Grandpa and the hole in his life. She was so special and we love her so much!!!
As my sister put it ~ Grandma was such a unique and special lady. I love the way she gave all of herself to us. She made an effort to be a part of our lives and to teach us through her life. She is greatly missed. So thankful she is not in pain anymore.
We will miss her so much!

ReplyDeleteSo sorry for your loss, Sharon. I know how close you were to your grandma and how much you loved her, so I'm sure it's hard for you. But, God will cover you with His peace and walk with you through these hard days....He'll do the same for your grandpa too! So glad she knew Jesus and will be waiting in heaven to greet the rest of the family as each one arrives in the future.
