What a week!

We thoroughly enjoyed having family here for Christmas!!!  Lots of playing and laughing filled our home and it was such a blessing!  I didn't take very many pictures, but I'll put a few up.  My mom took more (and better) pictures, so hopefully soon I can get some from her to share.  Even though there wasn't a ton of snow, sledding was still a favorite pass time. We were all blessed with lots of presents.  I'm sure we all have many memories to cherish for years to come.

Shelby wore these jammies from Christmas Eve (when she opened them) until we made her change on the night of the 26th!  Vivian had hers on from Christmas morning (when she opened them) until the night of the 26th when we made her change, too.  :)  Thank you Tammy!  Both girls love them!
And thanks to everyone who sent gifts!!!  Love to you all!

Grandpa and Vivian

Nathan was very excited about the bow Josh made for him.  The guys were outside a LOT shooting arrows.  :)

Sledding!

The girls have been on the sled twice now and they both love it!  Josh pulls them around and we have two hills they can sled down.  We are hoping for some more snow!!!

We put some lights on the tree outside and it looks so pretty!!!

We got a school desk from our Pastor and his wife a few weeks ago.  We were able to clean it up (it has been outdoors/neglected for 15 years), paint the metal and put a finish on the wood part of the chair.  Shelby loves it and started doing school work as soon as it was in the door.

And here I am at 20 weeks!  I am feeling good and enjoying the baby moving all around.  This is definitely my favorite part of pregnancy!!!  Every time I feel the baby move I am amazed at the miracle.

Hope you are enjoying the miracle of Christmas!  Can you imagine carrying the Savior of the world!?!?!?  Mary must have been humbled and full of joy with even just the thought.

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!

We got back from Richland last night, slept well, then got up today to go get our tree and decorate the house!  I love this time of year - so fun!  Everything looks so pretty with snow and the house looks festive.  We finished our evening with a surprise, early Christmas gift!  Josh bought the movie "Elf" which we all enjoy so we watched it tonight while we ate dinner.

It was a chilly day, -9 degrees while we chopped down the tree!  But we stayed cozy warm in the house afterwards with our wood stove.  :)

The tree!

It was up a slick, rocky, snowy hill so Josh went on his own to get it.

Easy way to get the tree down...just let it roll!

Shelby did great helping get the tree in the truck.

Vivian's help was giving daddy the tag.  ;)

We all enjoyed decorating the tree and the house!

May the joy of Christmas fill your heart and home.  The joy of Christmas is the birth of Jesus!  His birth, life, death and resurrection on this earth make it possible for us to live by faith and to one day spend eternal life in Heaven.  Hallelujah!  What a Savior!

A week in Richland!

The girls and I spent a week in Richland "nannying" the Bonus kids while Kim attended ultrasound training and Adam worked.  We had a great time!  Didn't take any pictures though.

Thanks to the Bonus family for hosting us and playing with us all week!  We love you all so much!!
