A new friend

Shelby made a new friend this past weekend, Gionna! Ariel's family was in town and her niece, Gionna, is 3 just like Shelby.  That had a blast playing together over the three days.  After playing at the park one afternoon, the entire family walked Shelby home.  Shelby, of course, had to show them her room!

 The girls have a lot in common.  Not only are they both 3, but they both like baby dolls, they both have purple-painted walls, they both have the "Violet" dog/toy, they are the same height, they both like dogs, and they love to talk.

 Shelby was telling us about Gionna's dog, Benji.  

And then they hugged goodbye.  They had been giving 50/50 hugs, but this one was all Shelby.  Haha

Here are the girls on the way to the park.

Gionna had a pretty little baby doll that she let Shelby take care of for about 24 hours.  That baby (which Shelby named Abby) never left her sight for those 24 hours!  She had so much fun loving on that baby.  Vivian even got to hold her a bit, despite Shelby fierce protest!

It was a very fun and special weekend.
