Jared at six weeks

We had Jared's six week checkup today and he is doing great!
Height: 22.5" (61%)  Hard to measure a baby...we think he is longer than this!
Weight: 13 lb 8 oz (94%)   Love this!!!  Sweet, chubby boy!
Head: 15.67" (91%)

Jared is very sweet and we are enjoying his baby "coo's" and getting him to smile.  He is sleeping and eating well.  Praise the Lord!

Tonight Jared "helped us" wrap Shelby's birthday presents.

 Oh wait...he's sleeping!  :)  I set him down and he konked out.  Love that!

Family Fun Nights

We have been enjoying "Family Fun Nights" with a few families in the area for several months now: we get together for a potluck-style dinner, let the kids run wild, and enjoy chatting.  We took some pictures this last time around of the fun we had at David & Lindy's.

Horse riding

Well, she did it!  Shelby has been talking about wanting to ride horses with Lindy for a long time and we thought she might be all "talk".  We were wrong and we are glad to share it!  :)  Both girls did great riding with Lindy and Shelby also rode by herself.  They told the horse, Boomer, when to go and pulled the reigns to stop.  We all had so much fun!!!

The girls also spent time petting Bailey and Toast (the black mare).

Thank you David and Lindy!!!  We are very grateful for your kindness to us!

Montana for the weekend

We enjoyed spending Memorial Day weekend in Helena, Montana with my family.  My parents, Kim and her kids and our family drove Friday to spend the day with some extended family.  We had a great time and enjoyed the beautiful of northern Idaho and Montana!

Grilling with Daddy

Last night Jared did some grilling with Daddy!

A week ago, or so, we enjoyed our lunch outside.

Enjoying the beautiful weather up here!  Today it rained and the girls played outside in the rain for a bit. 

Jared's one month!

Jared is a very sweet boy and we are all enjoying him.  He is doing well making eye contact, he listens to what is going on around him, he is a pretty good sleeper and he is a very good eater.  Can't get enough of him!  (Unless it's the middle of the night...hehe)

We are loving this boy!!!  He's three weeks old and here are some pictures for the past week or two - in no particular order.  We had a wonderful visit from Grandma this past week!  Can't say enough how amazing she is and how helpful she is ~ wow!!!  We all enjoyed precious times with her.

This was from when Aunt Kim was here during Jared's first week.  Aunt Kim trimmed Shelby's hair and Vivian was very sure that she also needed a trim.  And Kim's hair looks beautiful!!!
