Cradle is ready for Jared

Today I was able to sew the canopy for the cradle, recover the bumper for the cradle, and make a little pillow.  We are pleased with the finished product and ready for baby Jared to sleep in it!

On our move up here last year the cradle got some water damage, so Josh took time last month to refinish it.  The cradle looks beautiful!

For those of you that didn't see the cradle when it was prepared for the girls, here are a few pictures of that. (Pink canopy and pillow with a green bumper)

And a big Thank You to Josh for keeping the girls occupied while I sewed.  It is a beautiful day and they are enjoying the outdoors this afternoon.  Even got a fire going in the fire pit outside!

Little Mommies

We sure enjoyed the beautiful 60 degree weather here today!  Wow, the bright sunshine made for a fun afternoon outside.

37 weeks and counting!  We are all very excited to see Jared ~ praying for a healthy baby born on his due date, or slightly before.  ;)    Have a great week!!!

Shelby's first fish!

Josh took Shelby fishing again today and this time Shelby caught her first fish!!!

When they got home Shelby told me: We put bugs on the hook, but the fish kept stealing them!
They did catch two trout that "self-released" before they could reel them in all the way.  It was a very fun day fishing!

Splashing around

The girls had a lot of fun last week splashing all around in the snow melt!  It was fairly warm (short sleeves), but the melting snow was pretty cold (boots!)!!!

I'm now 34 weeks and we are all very excited for the arrival of baby Jared!  Please pray with us for the whole labor and delivery part of it...what to do with the girls and that the whole experience is a blessing.

I've definitely "dropped" as of Saturday/Sunday.  Can't believe this pregnancy has gone by so fast!

Where's Waldo?

Vivian spent over 30 minutes in the toy bin last night...that's the longest she has ever been in one spot (aside from sleeping)!!!  It's so nice when the girls play together well.

We all enjoy feeling our baby move all around.  And Shelby loves to snuggle with me and the baby.  Precious times!

Pigtails and playing

Vivian's hair is (kind of) long enough to do pigtails now!  She likes having them in when it is her idea.

This past Wednesday we had Ethan and Adia over to play for a day while their Daddy and Mommy went on a date!  The kids all had fun together and enjoyed playing ~ especially since all four of them have been sick and confined to their respective houses for a week or more.

Adia had fun climbing up the ottoman then jumping down to play the piano.

All the kids loved rocking on the horses.

Grateful for good friends here in Washington!
