So, so true.

Thank you, Kelly, for posting this link. It is so, so true ... and funny when you can read it without a toddler meltdown happening at that moment.
46 Reason My Three Year Old Might Be Freaking Out
And of course for a girl, or maybe just for Shelby and Vivian, there are others I could add to this list. Haha

Enjoy!

Shelby's blisters

Shelby's shoulders have continued to burn and she developed blisters.  Her right shoulder was the worst.  Here is a picture of the blisters, taken last night.

This morning she tells me, "I popped my blister last night!"  I am actually glad she did as it looks much better.  We had been putting aloe on it for a few days and after placing a cold washcloth on it last night I think her sunburn is getting better.  Poor girl!

Grandma Mary's visit

Grandma Mary came to visit this past week!  Shelby was very excited to see her and she had so much fun.  Vivian came around about the 2nd day and enjoyed spending time with Grandma Mary, too.  Here are some pictures of the fun we had:
Shelby taking pictures of Grandma Mary in the car.

Swinging on her belly.

Playing at the park.

Making cake balls - yummy!  They tasted more like brownies than cake...ummm good!

Grandma Mary and the girls played outside a LOT!  Running, walking, golf, swinging, etc.  Fun times!

 Grandma Mary wearing Shelby's clips.

Hopefully you can see all the pictures here: Sanderson, TX with Josh's family.

Thanks for coming, Mary.  The girls had a blast!  So glad it was warm so you could enjoy the outdoors with the girls.  :)

Yard Sale and Lobsters

Today we had a Yard Sale and it went pretty well.  We sold a lot of things and the girls had a good time playing outside all day long.
Shelby was a big helper!  Helped to blow Vivian's nose and helped feed Vivian her pancake.  She did great all day!
Josh brought pancakes for the girls to eat from the Legion and they had a good time eating them.  We made cookies last night and gave them away at our Yard Sale.  The girls ate at least 3 each - Vivian is a cookie monster!  Shelby would at least ask, where Vivian just grabbed them off the table just about every time I turned around.  It was pretty funny.

The girls had a blast sitting in this old carseat.  I didn't catch a picture of Shelby in there, but it was fun watching them play in it.

Our sweet neighbor, Noemi, and her boys were over in the afternoon.  They were a big help as they played with the girls and helped clean up from the garage sale.   Here Shelby is pulling Austin on his bike.

And in case you were wondering what the lobster part of the title is...well, Shelby and I got sunburned. It's our first burn of the year and it is bad.  And it hurts.  You'd think after 30+ years of getting burned I'd remember to put sunscreen on, but alas, it's March 9th and I didn't think of it.  Poor Shelby is hurting and she said that next time she will come tell me right away that she need sunscreen.  :)

Gymnastics - Open Gym

When Shelby heard that she might get to go to gymnastics with Anna again, she was very excited!  This time it was 1.5 hours of Open Gym.  It was fun to watch Shelby as she remembered some of what she was taught back in October.  Lindsey and Sophie got to come, too!

 Summersault

They all loved running up and down this long trampoline.

At first Josh and Vivian watched from the "tower" but then we decided Vivian would like it too, and she did!

The foam pit was the favorite.

Vivian liked jumping on this trampoline and running up and down the long trampoline the best.

Lindsey & Sophie (and Ben - due in just 5 weeks or so!)

Anna, the daredevil, jumping in the foam pit with David watching.  :)

Pics of our Colorado fun!

Enjoying the warmth of a fire.  I really liked this and have missed it so much!

Snowboarding!  Josh, Kyle and Russel got to go snowboarding at Winter Park for a day.

Playing in the snow!!!

 Dog-pile on Uncle Russel!!!

"No matter where I serve my guests, it seems they like my kitchen best."
Very true - we hang out there a lot.  :)  Pie and ice cream on Sunday afternoon.  And Andrew drove down from Wyoming for the day!

Shelby holding David.  She is such a big girl and such a wonderful helper - especially if it has to do with babies!

We had so much fun with the Russel Griffin family (I just didn't take any pictures when we were at their house). Sweet Keziah - almost 6!

Anna doing a headstand!  (I'll post the gymnastic pictures separately.)

Aunt Kelly getting love from Shelby as Aunt Kelly comforts her.

Vivian reading.

And if things work out right, we'll be back in CO in two weeks!  :)  We'll be heading up that way to fly to Spokane and go house-hunting.  Very excited!!!
