Slowly but surely

We had a wonderful time in Colorado this past week.  Lots of time with family!  It was such a blessing.  The pictures are on the computer and I'll eventually put them on the blog, but to start, here is a video to watch.


As I put the videos onto the computer I realized that the only videos we took were of Anna and Shelby or our time at Jesse's house.  :)  The pictures will show other things that we did in Colorado.

On the news

We are having a wonderful time in Colorado!  Just before we left Texas Josh was on the news!  He is one of the agents on the ATVs.  The news person says that the ATVs are just coming in to help, but the truth is that they had been working this group all day.  Here is the clip:

Moving!

We are excited to share that we will be moving! We just heard this morning that as of May Josh's new station will be Curlew, Washington. The next three months will be very busy. We head to Colorado tomorrow for a week+ vacation, then Mary will be coming to visit, then we plan to visit the Bonus family, then at the end of April we will move. Not exactly sure yet, but we will probably live in Republic.

Although we are very excited about our move North, we will be sad to leave some good friends we have made here in Sanderson.

Climbing the tree

Shelby climbed the tree a little bit today!

Wednesday the girls wore washcloth hats for a good part of the morning and had so much fun doing it!

These sweet girls had fun holding hands on the way to church last Sunday.  At first it was mostly Shelby forcing Vivian, but then they both enjoyed it and giggled lots.

Vivian and Shelby have re-discovered the rocking horse and are having fun on it again.  Here is Vivian riding it:

Vivian loves to wear a clip in her hair, just like Shelby.  Right now the only place that has enough hair to put a clip in is...

the back of her head.  :)  She even picks her own clips out! 

And this morning when we went into Shelby's room she went into Shelby's closet, pointing and grunting.  (When do babies start talking?! :) I picked her up and she grabbed Shelby's tutu and pulled it from the hanger!  So we put that on.  She is went back in and reached for Shelby's vest.  THEN she grabbed Shelby's tennis shoes.

She walked around like this until I took it off for breakfast.  She is very good at walking with shoes that are way too big for her on her feet.  

We sure do have some fun, sweet girls!  ;)
