So big...at 3 months

Vivian is 3 months old! She is a very sweet girl who loves when you talk with her. Yesterday Shelby mimicked a squeal Vivian made and Vivian LAUGHED! It was so sweet to hear her laughing and to watch the girls feed off of each other. Vivian is doing very well at holding her head up and she wants to sit up all the time. She is a great sleeper; she usually sleeps a full 7 to 8 hours at night, then is up around 4 AM to eat and up around 7 AM for the day. She does very well playing on her own in the bouncy seat. She takes good naps during the day (still not on the same nap schedule as Shelby, but that will come with time). She loves to chomp on her fingers and hands. And she is still a big drooler. We LOVE this girl!!! Looking back, Shelby and Vivian are pretty similar ~ sweet girls!

Soon we will be walking on a regular basis and I am excited that Vivian likes it. Hoping Shelby will stay in the stroller so that I can get some exercise! :)

Sisters

People keep asking us who Vivian looks like and if she looks like Shelby. Most everyone down here in Sanderson says that Vivian looks like Josh and we agree. As for looking like Shelby...you decide:

Some differences that we think are fun:

• Shelby was very neat about her drool - she always sucked it up and never let it leave her lip.
• Vivian drools!
• Shelby was an eat, sleep, play baby
• Vivian is an eat, play, sleep baby

Shelby was a smiley baby and she talked a lot ~ we enjoyed that so much. Vivian is also a smiley baby and she loves to talk ~ we are LOVING it!

Vivian's first hike

Another beautiful day here in Sanderson! This morning we all went for a hike. Shelby on Daddy's shoulders and Vivian in the Baby Bjorn with Mommy. The sunglasses only lasted for the picture as they kept falling off. About halfway through the hike Vivian fell asleep, but all in all I'd say she liked it!

We really enjoy our "weekends" with Daddy! Today we have been outside most of the day working in his shop. Shelby loves being outside and that is one benefit to living in Sanderson, nearly every "winter" day you can still be outside!
